Apostolic Order Network (AON), a Christian interdenominational network with many churches under its umbrella which seeks to support small and start up churches in apostolic perspective held its 4th edition church growth conference at Ravico Hotel, Nungua.
The conference with its theme, “The Purpose of a Church”, hosted many powerful speakers and men of God with several churches from some regions of Ghana to talk on the growth and streamline some activities of pastors from the apostolic point of view.
According to Pastor Rexford Williams, Chief-of-Staff of the Apostolic Order Network and senior Pastor of Royal Word Family Ministries, Spintex, the network was formed to bring sanctity into the pastoral work in the apostolic outlook as many pastors focus on money when establishing a church which is not the main purpose of establishing a church but to transform the lives of the people spiritually.
Speaking with Pastor Williams, he told BLG news that the conference is always organized every two months to educate pastors and church founders with apostolic teachings as this conference was quite and spiritually different from previous ones. “There is going to be another conference on 20th March, 2016, which is going to be ground – breaking as many great men of God will be speaking”, he revealed.

Rev. James Atta Odum, the country director of Africa Association of Bible Schools, the associate Pastor of Christian Life Mission Church and a guest speaker of the conference told BLG news that, the conference was a powerful conference that young church founders and pastors must always attend anytime such conferences are organized. “The presence of God was all over the place and I really felt it during the conference,” he confessed.
Speaking with Pastor Isaac Amowi Ahin, Mountain Zion Salvation Ministry in the Eastern region and a member of the network, he told BLG news lessons he learnt from the conference as one is Pastors not living righteous life always find difficult in building their churches. “I also learnt that one of the ways to grow a church is through evangelism as one cannot always stay within the boundaries of the church and expect increment in number,” he explained.
Finally Pastor Williams, urged all church leaders and Christians to remain focus in the church business as the number one assignment for all Christians is to worship God but not for monetary motives or otherwise. “I urge all pastors and Christians to partake in this Bi – conferences of AON as it provides apostolic teachings and education for church growth and direction”, he added.
