USE TROTRO IF FUEL PRICE IS HIGH … Mahama

AH.E. John Mahama

Story by Mary Caroline Atangah
The increase in fuel has perturbed drivers more especially the private car users as H.E. John Mahama gave passengers another options to take Trotro.
Speaking to Mr Francis Ohene, a trotro driver, he told BLG news that the increase of fuel price is very bad to the drivers more especially to the private cars owners. “Those of the drivers who use their vehicle for domestic purposes will be losing a lot of money buying fuel rather than saving as compared to the commercial cars users due to the nature of their work”, he revealed.
Mr samuel Attah, manager of Multicredit Ltd told BLG news that the president said that as a results of too much complain from the public anytime there is increment in prices of items. “The president and his people don’t work to buy themselves anything rather it is Ghanaians that takes the sole responsibility for getting them anything they want so it does not affect him and his members that is basically why they increase price of fuel, water and other government related things anyhow”, he lamented.
According to him, at the end of the day is the workers of the state who suffers more, as some have to wake up at dawn to get cars to work, some even end up always late to work and it really affects their work. “Now that private car owners have to leave their cars to join trotro as suggested by the president will collapse more companies because of lateness to work”, he explained.
Finally Mr Attah urges officials to be considerate on the prices of commodities as it affects businesses and workers in the country.
