“GHANAIAN CHRISTIANS ARE SELF-CENTERED” … Rev. Gabriel Ansah

Rev. Gabriel Ansah

Story by Mitchell Platini (BLG NEWS)
The host of the popular Adom FM religious program, Nasem University, Rev. Gabriel Ansah, disclosed the reasons why some Christians in Ghana struggles in life more than non-Christians during an apostolic impartation conference by the apostolic order network (AON) at Ravico Hotel, Nungua.
The conference which seeks to address the messages of the church through comprehensive teachings on the purpose of New Testament church, hosted different renowned bible ministers such as Apostle Samuel Kwesi Donkor, retired minister, Christ Apostolic Church Int., Rev. Gabriel Ansah, Apostle Joseph Jackson, President of Apostolic Order Network and Rev. Nana Kwaku Asare, Vice President, Apostolic Order Network and General Overseer of Celebration In His Presence Ministry (CIHPM).
According to Rev. Gabriel Ansah, he started his bible ministrations at the age 14yrs in 1979 at the Kaneshie Market during the Rawlings Coup de tat from which many soldiers gave their life to Christ. He noted that, Christians have limited God to material things where they only pray to God for such flashy materialisms. He further revealed that, when Christians gets those material gains, they tend to forget about the work of God and always use their work and time schedules as excuses to escape from doing the work of God. “God stop doing the miracles he use to do during the primitive days because He realized that, it takes Christians away from the church”, he explained.
Rev. Ansah maintained that, most Christians don’t have the right purpose in life, hence struggles throughout their lifetime on earth. He added that, Christian’s prayers are centered on their selves but not for the country which is very selfish on the part of Christians. As part of the methods for church growth, he explained that, there is no method for church growth apart from the method stated in the books of Act. He finally urge all Christians to go into the world and live an exemplary life of Christ as the purpose of the new testament church is to demonstrate the power of God through selfless behaviors.
Speaking with BLG news, Apostle Samuel Kwesi Donkor, explained the apostolic history of Ghana from 1917 where Apostle Newman Anim was thrown out from the Presbyterian Church for praying in tongues which was against the Presbyterian conventions and way of worship. According to him, Apostle Anim later formed a prayer group to preach the word of God of which through him, the apostolic church was formed to champion the apostolic teachings.
He added that all Christians should take part in this election period and pray for a peaceful election rather than fighting each other. He urged every Christian to vote for God – fearing leaders but not for material gains.
Finally, Rev. Nana Kwaku Asare posited that Christianity is sinking as they are moving away from the purpose of God to join bad inclined churches. He noted that, most people graduates from university without job and jump into forming churches just because they can speak laudable English. He explained that, the apostolic order network was formed to shape Christians from moving towards such direction by the teaching them the true apostolic teachings. According to him, the network is made up of several churches such as Manner mission, Shepherd mission, Christ Apostolic Church, assemblies of God, action faith and others.
Rev. Asare revealed that, Rev. Gabriel Ansah was invited to shape members of the network towards the right direction. He advised all Christian’s leaders not to walk alone, as they will die alone by walking alone, henceforth should collaborates with other churches to learn more and share knowledge as it’s the only way to build strong Christian community. “God has given everyone the right to elect their leaders through voting, henceforth Ghanaians should think very well before casting their votes and vote for their future not for short-term material gains”, he exclaimed.
