                                                                                                          Story By: Ufondu Kingsley

The managements of Ghana Coco board recently dismissed some of its workers upon using forged certificate to gain employment.
BLG news confirmed that COCOBOD has dismissed a number of workers for using fake certificates to secure jobs.
The staff that is mainly with the Seed Production Department has been sent home following a concentrated investigation by the Human Resource Department.
Upon investigations by BLG News, it was deduced that more workers of COCOBOD could be on their way out of the company as a committee probes the matter.
The Executive Director informed a meeting that the educational Certificates of newly engaged staff were verified and two (2) of the certificates were confirmed to be fictitious.
In one instance, the worker involved, Mr. Harrison Gborglovor is alleged to have presented a forged certificate which indicated that he completed his degree programme at the University of Ghana.
Meanwhile, the Human Resource Department has been directed to sit up and enforce measures that will not allow staff to explore loopholes in the system.
A committee has also been set up to conduct further investigations into the matter.
