APOSTLE JOSHUA KUMI RECEIVES INTERNATIONAL APPOINTMENT

            The head of Holy Mizpah Church, Majesty Prayer Centre, Apostle Joshua E. A. Kumi, chalked an international appointment, as a peace ambassador to help sustain Ghana’s peace in this 2016 general election.
            The appointment ceremony which was witnessed by the general public, took place at the church auditorium, Tema, community 4, and was honored and sealed by Bishop Samuel Yankyerah, Africa Director, Center Of Hope, U.K and General Overseer of World Shakers Chapel Int., with other prominent men of God.
            As part of the core mandates and peace sustenance objectives of Centre of Hope, U.K., the organization incorporated the peace ambassadors’ position as a voluntary support for developing countries and encouragement to help in the areas of child care, child right, and child protections especially in election periods
            Speaking with BLG news, Bishop Samuel Yankyerah, Africa Director, Center Of Hope, U.K and General Overseer of World Shakers Chapel Int., noted that, the organization was established in 2003 to help children in Africa and its diaspora, as children suffers the most in restless economies and countries especially during election battles.  He further revealed that, because of the peace quest of Centre of Hope, U.K, peace activities were added to the core functions in 2012, by appointing peace ambassadors to support and organize peace activities in the country as the election date approaches. As part of the privileges for appointees, he maintained that, with the Center Of Hope U.K’s identification card, appointees can easily move across countries and Europe for their missions without any difficulties, as the appointment is subjected to yearly renewal.

            He added that, the organization seeks to appoint seven (7) peace ambassadors to support Ghana’s peace, of which Apostle Joshua E. A. Kumi cannot be left out. As part of the criteria for the appointments, he stated that, Centre of Hope, U.K, looked at the person’s benevolence, that is donation to the needy and passion for peace sustenance programs, as some were based on recommendations from the organization. Continuing with some of the expected responsibilities of appointees, he maintained that, appointees are expected to have peace talks with politicians, organize peace conferences and preach peace messages in all their engagements. He finally urged all Ghanaians to be peace ambassadors but not to wait for appointments before supporting the peace mission.
            Apostle Joshua E. A Kumi, Head of Holy Mizpah Church, Majesty Prayer Centre, and newfangled - Centre of Hope U.K, Peace Ambassador 2016/2017, expressed his gratitude for such an appointment as a peace ambassador for Centre of Hope, U.K and promised to foster unity in the country during this election period. “I will go to every part of the country and preach peace without any hesitations”, he announced. Finally, he urged all Ghanaians to be tolerance as democracy is just expressions of opinion, hence Ghanaians should refrain from personalizing their arguments which can cause muddles.  
      Finally, James Kojo Boateng Mensah, member of Action Chapel, Tema, Guest Speaker, posited that, Ghana needs the hands of God in the electoral system, to prevent the election of wrong people as wrong leaders will put the country in crisis. “It is the spiritual realm that controls the physical realm, and 95% of politicians have been surrounded by occultism, hence Christians have to pray fervently for the right leader”, he revealed. He further urged all men of God to minimize the prophecies about the outcome of the election which can cause problems; hence they should be patient with their God - given gifts till the appointed time.
