PALM OIL SELLERS BOOST BUSINESS WITH ADDITIVES

Palm oil sellers add more chemicals to increase the quantity as buyers have started complaining in at Teshie.
As most consumers of palm oil now complain of additives of the oil speaking to the reporters of BLG news madam Philomina Azuma who purchase the palm oil product in large quantity from the villages where they are being produce and sell them in Accra said that people do complain about the taste, colour, and the duration of the oil due to the additives like suede and others that the sellers add to the oil to increase the quantity. “The colour changes the original taste and smell of the oil which affects most of the consumers more especially those that use palm oil in every meal they prepare”, she revealed.
According to madam Azuma palm 0il is type of oil that last for long if it is kept in its original state very well but because 0f the chemicals added get spoilt at anytime, and it is not even good for making soap not to talk 0f consuming it has food. “People should not think about the money and kill people with chemicals because if they die there won’t be any more consumers henceforth let’s do the right thing if we want to sell more”, she advised.
Mrs. Okyere a palm oil seller at theKaneshie market told BLG news that they have all heard about the reaction of some of their colleagues’ and they are going to try their best to eject such people among them from the group of palm oil sellers so as to save the image of the producers.
Finally Madam Saraha consumer told BLG news that she has four gallons of palm oil but due to chemical in it she is not able to consume it since she uses only palm oil in all her meal that needs oil and has to sell it to the soap makers.” I urge all palm sellers to make the Ghanaian oil quality as it will reduce the consumption of the foreign oil”, she pleaded.
