The
Shepherd Light Bible College in collaboration with the Good Shepherd Bible
Institute International, held its first graduation ceremony for the year 2016 in
the month of June, 2016 at Ajdei-Kojo, a suburb of Ashaiman in the
auditorium of the Emmanuel Christian Outreach Ministries International, Victory
Temple.
The Bible College presented sixteen
"16" graduands who already happened to be ministers from various
churches and ministries, out of which 3 were women and the remaining 13 were
men.
The Bible institute was established to train not
just ministers, but anybody ready and willing to know more about ministry work
and God. The Good Shepherd Bible Institute International is headed by
Arch-Bishop Dr. Goodman Anim (CEO and Rector) and is assisted by his current
deputy Bishop Christian. The Bible Institute was founded about 17years
ago by Arch-bishop Dr. Goodman Anim in his quest to raise young leaders with
the in-depth knowledge of Christ, standards and values and to equip them with
the selfless and hardworking personalities. Arch-bishop Anim is a loving
husband and a father of seven "7" wonderful children.
The ceremony began with an opening prayer lead
by Prophet Prosper Asomani, and was followed by worship session which was also
lead by Apostle Frank Kusi-Poku, who happened to be one of the graduands and
later a praises session lead by his wife, Mrs. Cynthia Kusi-Poku with Madam
Victoria Ametor backing her. The hymnal titled "STAND UP FOR JESUS"
was sung as the "Good Shepherd" anthem after procession of the
graduands. There were song ministrations by sister Irene, sister Selina, Sister
Mary Awatey and Minister Nhyira. The 16 graduands were neatly dressed as they
were seated, patiently waiting for the moment that their certificates would be
presented to them.
In an interview with Arch-bishop Goodman Anim,
he said the school started about 17 years ago but the Ashaiman chapter only
started 4 months ago. “The training is a Christian education, not a secular one
so we expect that they (the graduands) will live by the tenets of what they
have studied, that is, "integrity is the word; and I pray that the spirit
of God will quicken them so that what they have studied will be put into
practice especially concerning the fact that we as believers and ministers,
lack so many things in Christendom”. Therefore we need people who are knowledgeable
to impact this unto many. He urge anyone who wants to pursue a degree or
masters in ministry to join the training as they are very much welcome if they
choose to train here. The next session begins in August this year."
A report about the institute was given by the
prefect of this year's graduating class, brother Henry Mireku. The ceremony was
a success as it ended with the presentation of the certificates, vote of thanks
and a closing prayer and benediction by Arch-bishop Goodman Anim.
Congratulations Ministers!
