The 3-days program, dubbed “Grace for Impact” seeks to resuscitate the Christian community to leave a legacy and footprint to be remembered after death but not to just pass through life without a trace.  The program hosted great men of God with in-depth knowledge on bible teachings such as Rev. Bernard Bediako – Poku, Resident Pastor, Calvary Faith Gospel Mission, Kumasi, who spoke on the need for grace and Godfred Nsiah, Head Pastor, Refined Word Chapel.
Speaking with BLG news, Godfred Nsiah, Head Pastor, Refined Word Chapel, and a PHD degree student in theology, University of Ghana, Legon, explained that the church was established to transform lives and shape destinies into fulfillment by empowering Christians through the untainted word of God. He further added with a reference from the bible that, the word of God has been refined and tested seven times to be proven true, hence Refined Word Chapel believe that, holding on to the true word of God paves the way for destiny fulfillment.
According to him, Greater Grace is an annual conference that converge Christians from all walks of life together for an impactful life. He stated that, the church cartels both scholarly works and biblical expositions to teach the word of God so as to have a well knowledgeable Christian community. He finally urged all church leaders to use their mandate as a shaping tool for the country through constructive criticisms but not partisan politics. “Religious bodies should advice their members to refrain from violent acts in order to ensure peaceful elections and should use prayers as peace – making tool”, he advised.
Ps. Opoku Kafui, assistant Pastor, Refined Word Chapel, maintained that the greater grace conference had an impact on a lot of Christians’ through intensive education on the essence of generational impact. “After the service, everyone was happy to acquire such insight in grace aside the biblical perspective,” he added. He revealed that, Refined Word Chapel is working on establishing schools from the crèche to the tertiary level. As part of reducing unemployment in the country, he said churches have to use the money raised to train church members on demand-driven skills which will enable them to establish businesses in the community.
He noted that, Christians are reconcilers between man and God, therefore they should always preach peace during this election period in order to avert violence and demeaned behaviors. Finally, Ps. Kafui entreated all religious leaders not to exhibit partisanships in the church, since church members may be supporting different political parties. This will contribute to the peace quest in the country, he noted.
Finally, Victoria Yetsa Kumahor, Financial administrator, Refined Word Chapel, urged all Christians to rely on the grace of God, as without it Christians cannot do anything in this world. “Christians should commit their selves to the work of God as the focal objective of all Christians is to make it to heaven”, she advised.
