The members of the Liberty anchor foundation ministry witnessed the
most uproarious fund raising ceremony in the history of the ministry in aid of acquisition
of new land for the ministry at the church premises, Teshie.
Speaking with BLG
news , Apostle Ernest Joy who is in charge of the ministry, said the rationale
behind the fund raising is to acquire a permanent site (land) for the church
ministry, which aim at paving way for
massive donation by the members , invitees and the general public. Addressing
the church members concerning fund raising, just as Christ gave his life for
us, so shall all followers of Christ are to reciprocate by giving and as well
sowing seed, for givers never lack, he added.
Adding to his vocal expression by his wife, Mrs.Henrietta
Okai , the church ministry which started 8years ago (2007) at Achimota has been
operating at different locations temporally of which we deemed it necessary for
the church ministry to have a permanent site on its own to ensure smooth and
steady running of God's work, she said.
Finally, there was an expression of
unequivocal advice by the Reverend and his wife to the general public about the
reward behind the act of giving and invites the general public and God fearing
philanthropists to support this holy course in the Lord’s kingdom as everyone needs to have the spirit of giving.
